Crude Oil Prices April 24, 2025: Brent & WTI Rates

Crude oil prices, on April 24, 2025, changed a little as investors weighed a weaker US Dollar, a potential OPEC+ output increase, mixed economic news, conflicting tariff signals from the White House, and news from the Russia-Ukraine war.

Brent crude oil price, on April 24, closed at roughly $66.55 per barrel compared with $66.12 recorded on April 23. At the same time, WTI crude oil price closed at approximately $62.84 per barrel compared with $62.27 recorded on April 23.

According to the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), the basket price of thirteen crude oil blends stood at $70.26 a barrel on April 23.

The OPEC Reference Basket of Crudes (ORB) consists of the following: Saharan Blend (Algeria), Djeno (Congo), Zafiro (Equatorial Guinea), Rabi Light (Gabon), Iran Heavy (Iran), Basrah Medium (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE) and Merey (Venezuela).
